Groam House Cookbook digital download

Forty-six savoury and sweet recipes tried, tested and tasted by friends and volunteers. Including favourites from the exceptional bakers who supply our legendary fundraising coffee mornings.

All proceeds go towards the upkeep of Groam House Museum.

"The idea of producing a cookbook to sell as part of the fundraising activities of Groam House Museum volunteers took root a while ago. The process took longer than we expected!

Even before the impact of the pandemic hit us the realities of the enterprise were obvious. Gathering the recipes together, proofreading, transcribing print to software, the managing content and design, all by a small team with other responsibilities, was a lengthy and often challenging process.

The events of 2020 added another dimension. Operating within coronavirus restrictions presented unique challenges. With no face to face meetings possible all discussions and decisions were conducted by email and telephone. With patience, perseverance and good humour, and much appreciated support from A4 Printers In Inverness, we achieved our goal this spring.

We hope our little book will be well received and do its bit to support our museum."
