PROJECT
Sharing the Creativity of Celtic Art through the George Bain Collection

George Bain was passionate about sharing Celtic art to inspire creativity and we feel the same about the George Bain Collection; the Sharing the Creativity of Celtic Art through the George Bain Collection project will allow artists and craftspeople to access and use the collection to inspire creative work.
We will bring creative practitioners in to use the collection and through understanding their practice create a new website to allow anyone anywhere to discover and use the collection creatively and share their work with us.
The project begins with dance and animation creation and performance, followed by wider creative practitioner consultation, collection photography and interpretive writing, leading to the creation of the new website.
We are grateful to Creative Scotland, Museums Galleries Scotland and the Groam House Museum fundraising team for making this project possible.
