Ceramic Making Workshop

January 24 @ 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Spend a cosy and creative afternoon exploring clay, storytelling, and texture with archaeologist-turned-potter Emma Harrison of Bog Born Crafts. Inspired by a Victorian seaweed album and an 18th-century death bell from the museum collection, you’ll create and decorate your own ceramic pieces using clay, slip, natural pigments, and foraged seaweed. Finished pieces will be fired after the session and returned to the museum for collection.

No previous experience is required — this is a welcoming workshop for beginners and experienced makers alike. Workshops are offered on a Pay What You Can basis, with a minimum contribution of £10 to reserve your place.
