Textile Block Printing: Linen Wall Hanging

We’re delighted to welcome Hayley Anderson back to Groam House Museum for a repeat of her popular textile block printing workshop. In this hands-on session, you’ll design and carve your own lino block inspired by objects from the Groam House collection, then use it to print a custom linen wall hanging. Working in a relaxed and supportive environment, you’ll explore drawing, carving, and textile printing techniques to create a unique piece to take home.
The workshop is suitable for absolute beginners, with all tools, inks, and high-quality UK-sourced linen provided. No previous experience is needed — just bring your lunch and a few ideas for inspiration. Teas and coffees will be available.
