STORYWAYS TO ROSEMARKIE’S PEOPLE
2022 TEMPORARY DISPLAY AT THE MUSEUM
This exhibition gives a glimpse of the history of Rosemarkie, the people who lived and worked here, and how this bonny wee village evolved as a holiday destination.
Researched, written and curated by a group of museum volunteers, this exhibition features objects and images donated to our local history collection alongside items on loan from members of our community.
Our local history collection is small but precious to Rosemarkie and Fortrose. Work is ongoing to research and document objects and photographs. There are many questions to answer, people and places to identify and stories to tell.
