Groam House Museum is seeking an experienced freelance podcast producer or small studio to create a short series of podcasts that engages a younger audience with the fascinating history of the Picts. Our museum, known for its rich collection of Pictish objects and Celtic art, aims to bring these enigmatic people closer to the public, making their stories accessible, memorable, and relatable. This series will be available to listen to within the museum, allowing visitors to sit and engage with the collections in a different way, as well as online through our website. Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, these podcasts are intended to inspire a broader and more diverse audience, and place our collections within the context of the Pictish community in the Highlands and Scotland more widely. More information about Groam House Museum’s collections can be found here and here.
