Would you like to learn how to photograph museum objects? We’re offering volunteers the chance to find out more.

Join museum photographer Jim Dunn online to learn how to successfully photograph objects such as glass and silver items, small coins and medals, and large flat drawings or paintings. You’ll be able to put the training into practice through a series of home photography challenges using household objects and your camera/smartphone/tablet.

15 January 2.30pm: online training
16-28 January:  home object photography challenges – share via a training Facebook page
29 January afternoon: online small group review of challenges

You don’t need to have experience but you need access to a smartphone/tablet with a camera and a commitment to help local independent museums photograph their collection (when Covid restrictions permit).

Booking is essential via Eventbrite
